Friday, July 14th, 2006

Check in all day

6:00 pm: Karaoke and live music in Pole Barn

8:00 pm: Orientation and briefing in Pole Barn

9:00 pm Campfire complete with entertainment


Saturday, July 15th, 2006

8:00 am to 9:30 am: Breakfast with pancakes, sausage, biscuits, gravy, eggs, coffee, juice, cereal. In Pole Barn

10:00 am to 11:30 am: ARES/RACES NTS Marty, N8MG & John WB8RCR there will be 40 minutes for each and a 10 minute combined question and answer period.

11:30 am to 12:30 pm: Lunch

12:30 pm to 1:15 pm: LIVE FOX HUNT ever wanted to do a fox hunt and find the hidden transmitter? Now is your chance !...This is a fun event if you have never participated in one.

2:30 pm to 3:15 pm: National Incident Management System with Lyle Wilette AB8CB

3:30 pm to 4:15 pm: Recruiting Workshop - Dale Williams WA8EFK Forum to be announced

4:30 pm to 5:00 pm: Section Forum. Issues and answers. Question and Answer. All Section Staff and Division Leadership and Guests.

6:00 pm to 7:30 pm: Spaghetti Dinner. Full meal prepared and served by the Leadership.

9:00 pm to ????: Campfire complete with entertainment for the whole family. Prizes and winners of the contests will be announced and presented with prizes also


Sunday, July 16th, 2006

8:00 am to 9:00 am: Interdenominational Service. Denny, VE3EUI

9:00 am to 10:00 am: Potluck breakfast. Bring and share your breakfast food. Leftovers from saturdays breakfast will be put out.

9:30 am to 10:30 am: Auction of donated items.

Canoeing, horseshoes, volleyball, softball, boating, swimming facilities are available all day every day of the outing for your pleasure. Canoeing, swimming and boating involve safety issues that will be addressed at the outing. Hayrides around the 420 beautiful acres will be arranged and announced.

The contests will be: "Best Dressed Campsite", "Best Dressed Individual". Prizes will be awarded in these categories at the campfire saturday evening.

Please note a couple of changes in the schedule, especially the breakfast which has been changed to saturday morning versus sunday morning.

    Notes
  1. If you are staying in one of the Lodges, you will need to bring your own bedding, pillow(s) and personal care items such as towels
  2. There will be hot dogs, hamburgers, drinks, and snacks available on friday evening and saturday lunch for those wishing to purchase. If you prefer to provide your own food, please plan on providing your own food and meals for friday evening, saturday lunch, sunday breakfast (remember to come share at the pot luck meal) and sunday lunch.
  3. If you are coming up for just the day on saturday, please let Debbie, KA8YKK (Registration and Finances) know that you will need a lunch on saturday.
  4. It is requested that the main member of your party attend the orientation on Friday evening. Rules and guidelines will be gone over at Orientation.
  5. As we get larger every year it becomes necessary for us to ask for volunteers to help out with things. Please volunteer to help with bathroom cleanup, lodge/kitchen cleanup on closing day.
